Glitter Rockers Glam Skanks Join Adam Ant As Direct Support For His Anthems – The Singles Tour In The Uk
Following Sold-Out Shows On The North American Tour With Pop Icon Adam Ant And A Show With Alice Cooper, Glitter Rockers Glam Skanks Join Adam Ant As Direct Support For His Anthems – The Singles Tour In The Uk
(LOS ANGELES) 22, March, 2017 – Following a show opening for Alice Cooper and sold-out shows on their North American tour opening as direct support for pop icon Adam Ant, Hollywood glitter-rockers Glam Skanks (www.GlamSkanks.com) have been hand-picked a second time to open for Adam as part of his ANTHEMS – The Singles tour in the UK in May, 2017. For ticket information, visit BookingsDirect.com.
Glam Skanks will hit the road in support of their new album, “Glitter City”, featuring their new single, “Bad Bitch”.
On “Glitter City”, produced by Bruce Witkin and Ryan Dorn, Glam Skanks create a technicolour audiovisual feast using familiar tints from T Rex, The Runaways, David Bowie and The Sweet with the genuine rock sensibility of Aerosmith wrapped in a full-blown cosmetic Rocky Horror show meets Hedwig androgyny. Like a rock and rollercoaster ride in a blazing cloud of feather-boa gltter with a swagger that screams Sunset Strip dreams and Hollywood nights, the album is Drag Rock for the masses.
“Glitter City” is available on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Amazon and Bandcamp.
In addition to the “Glitter City” album, their “Miss Androgynous” single is also featured in director Kevin Smith’s film “Yoga Hosers” starring Lily-Rose Depp and Harley Quinn Smith with Natasha Lyonne, Austin Butler and Adam Brody.
Glam Skanks are Veronica Volume (Guitar), Ali Cat (Lead vocals), Millie (Bass) and Cassie (Drums).
