Genesis Steve Hackett announces new live CD/DVD Boxset + UK Tour

Prog pioneer Steve Hackett, lead guitarist of legendary Genesis, proudly announces the DVD release of his critically acclaimed live spectacular Genesis Revisited, filmed at the sold out show at London’s legendary Royal Albert Hall in October 2013. The DVD of this landmark performance will hit the stores on 30th June 2014.

Genesis Revisited: Live at the Royal Albert Hall – the next best thing after being there – was recorded in 5.1 Surround Sound and will be available in the following formats:
– Standard 2CD/DVD digipak
– Limited 2CD/2DVD/Blu-Ray art-book with liner notes, photos and bonus interview features

In order to re-live such a seminal chapter of prog rock history live on stage for Genesis Revisited, Hackett surrounded himself with a team of exceptional musicians including keyboardist Roger King (Gary Moore, Snoop Dog, Jamelia), Gary O’Toole (Chrissie Hynde, Kylie Minogue) on drums, percussion and vocals, Rob Townsend (Eddie Henderson, Bill Bruford, Django Bates) on sax, flute and percussion, Lee Pomeroy (Rick Wakeman, Take That) on bass, and Nad Sylvan (Abbas’s Michael B Tretow) on vocals.

This exceptional product promises to be the perfect box-set for any (prog) music lover, a true must-have.

Rebel Rebel Music Magazine was founded by Gessica Puglielli, counting in the names of several music enthusiasts, journalists and photographers. The magazine was founded in October 2013 and, despite being quite young, Gessica and her collaborators have already interviewed and/or reviewed several interesting artists mainly from the indie scene of rock, pop, jazz and soul. In the first 5 months from its online launch, Rebel Rebel Magazine scored over 30,000 visits and 20,000 unique visitors, with 15,000 Twitter followers and 5,000 Facebook likes. Rebel Rebel is the result of years of passion for music and the experience Gessica gained during her years as collaborator of Michael Jackson’s staff MJJ Productions. Why the name? We think somehow music is an act of rebellion and a declaration of freedom, that’s why we define ourselves as "unconventional": we don't care whether an artist is popular or not, as long as it's good music.
