When a band like Fun Lovin’ Criminals walk on stage you never know what to really expect; it goes without saying that, based on what they have been delivering during their 20-years-old career, you should at least expect high levels of musicianship and entertainment. On the occasion of their London tour date at the Brooklyn Bowl on august 9 such expectations were not only met but widely exceeded.
Huey, Frank and Brian offered the audience engaging moments alternating beefy riffs to hard rock beats to Beastie Boys style takes to chill-out-lounge smoothness. The trio from New York are a powerful combination of irony, positive vibes and great musical skills, so it comes as no surprise seeing how they worked the in-awe crowd into dancing and clapping and chanting and literally loving them.

This is a band to be loved and appreciated especially for their live performances, where they unravel their full potential and take by a storm everyone around with their overwhelming energy, cheeky preachings and powerful sounds.
